A lot of the comments on my YouTube Channel have asked oh how do I start Writing poetry or how do I get better at Writing poetry and the number one thing Is just write every day like write at Least a few verses a few lines every day And then the other is like read a lot of Other people's poetry and understand and Know like what poems you like and then Kind of like get a good idea of why you Like certain uh poets and their writing Styles I don't read a ton of like oh how To write poetry books I kind of just Like reading poetry and writing poetry Um without a certain idea of like oh This is how a poem should be structured A lot of poets would disagree with me And there's value in learning structure As well
