The algorithm I am flashing back to the day of the Procedure Sierra gingerly reminding me of all the Women who have fought and died for my Right to make this decision Filling out a form where I have to list Three reasons why I am sure I want to go Through with this Shava stealthily ripping their jewel in The doctor's office cool mint Vapor Rushing down their shirt collar The long wait for the nurse to come back Debating if we would forgive Jordan if We were Kylie Soon enough My baby is right there on the screen So small and electronic and gone that I Could barely even catch a glimpse It was like trying to catch the Reflection of a sequin In the waiting room before the Anti-anxiety meds kick in I get a ping From one of those Scrabble apps Blythe your word of the day is Motherhood I imagine drowning the device in the Bathroom sink I am sick of my phone Knowing me like a nosy friend a Volunteer asks if I want to color a page Of boobs while I wait which I think is Bizarre I eat all of the silver Hershey's kisses on her desk she gives Me a DIY bouquet of condoms on my way

Out tied together with a rubber band bow I accept them politely and without Screaming
